What to Expect

We’ll meet you at Rocky Mountain Flatbread Co. and begin with flatbreads stacked with locally sourced toppings. We’ll learn about wines from the pros at Canmore Wine Merchants, taste two of Alberta’s signature foods at Mountain Mercato and Gaucho and finish with artisanal chocolates and a goody bag of mountain fresh tea and treats to take home. Delightful beverage pairings are included in the tour.

Yes, bathrooms are available during the tour at selected food-tasting locations. Our tour leaders will point them out as we tour so that you may always be comfortable.

To maximize your chances of getting the day, time, and number of tickets you prefer, please book well in advance. Tickets can only be purchased with a Visa, AMEX, or MasterCard from our website or by calling 1-844-5239. Cash and/or walk-up traffic the day of the tours are not accepted.

Absolutely not! Our tours combine historical facts, local culture and culinary insights into a unique 3.5 hour experience. Imagine joining the local outdoorsy culture walking along trails while soaking up the amazing views of the Rocky mountains and all the while eating our local artisan’s most delicious foods and hanging out with charming locals.

Parking is available a few blocks from our meeting point – behind the Bank of Montreal in the parking lot between 8 Street (also known as Main Street) and 7 Street (also known as Veteran’s Way).

We are a hardy bunch in Canada so we run our tours rain, shine, or snow. In the event of inclement weather, we will be able to go inside many of the establishments on the tour. Dress in layers and pack an umbrella in case of sudden weather changes. It’s always best to check the weather conditions for your day’s event and dress appropriately.
